Dear Sir or Madam,
Under the FOI Act 2000, I would like to know how many teachers, and
Head Teachers have:

1) Signed a compromise agreement since September 2004.
2) How many of these resulted in the termination of their
employment with yourselves, the council.
3) How long they had been working for the Educational Service in
your Council.
4) How old they were on their day of leaving.
I would be grateful if you could let me know if there is a cost to
this request.

Dear Ms MacArthur,

Thank you for your request which you have submitted to the Council under
the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

after we had logged your request on the system, which means that the

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - INFORMATION REQUEST TO WESTMINSTER CITY
COUNCIL

Dear Ms MacArthur,

Your request for information has now been considered and the information
requested is enclosed as below.

1) Since September 2004 five Head Teachers and 36 Teachers have
signed a compromise agreement.

2) 40 compromise agreements resulted in termination of employment.

3) Length of service of those whose employment was terminated is as
follows:

Length of service Total
1 - <5 Years 14
6 - <10 Years 8
11 - <15 Years 3
16 - <20 Years 15
Grand Total 40

4) Age at the time of termination is as follows:

Age group Total
30-44 10
45-54 16
55-65 14
Grand Total 40

5) Further detailed information that you have requested is exempt
under Data Protection Act, Section 40 (2). We are unable to provide you
with this information as it will enable to identify individuals and doing
so would breach principle 1 of the DPA.
