Dear Sir or Madam,
Under the FOI Act 2000, I would like to know how many teachers, and
Head Teachers have:
1) Signed a compromise agreement since September 2004.
2) How many of these resulted in the termination of their
employment with yourselves, the council.
3) How long they had been working for the Educational Service in
your Council.
4) How old they were on their day of leaving.
I would be grateful if you could let me know if there is a cost to
this request.
Yours faithfully,
Catherine MacArthur

Dear Ms Lang,
Thank you for your response to my FIO request, which has come after
I have put in for a Internal Review because your response was
overdue.
In view of the content of your response, I wish to go ahead with my
request for an Internal Review, as most other Councils have
provided me with the information at no extra cost, and many, within
a week.
I do not share your view that this information lies under the rules
of copyright protection. I am not asking for names of individuals,
nor of school names. Other Councils have provided me with clear
tables of the 4 questions I have asked.
I would asked that your Review team reconsider my request.
Yours sincerely,
Catherine MacArthur

Dear Ms Lang (or Hounslow Borough Council FOI Officer)
Please could you pass this on to the person responsible for
Internal Reviews of FOI requests.
I apologise for the delay in responding to your last email above
dated 04.12.09.
I have had no response to my request for an internal review of your
response to my initial FOI request which I sent 03.12.09.
In my view, the information I am requesting is very important as
public funds are at stake here, and I believe that this management
method should be open to public scrutiny. Because of this, I do not
believe that this request falls in the domain of 'Copyright'.
If your systems do not allow this information to be easily
retrieved, I would suggest that the Internal Review would go some
way to making sure that this information is kept as a matter of
routine from now on.
In conclusion, I am therefore asking that my request be sent for re
appraisal as part of my request for an Internal Review.
Yours faithfully,
Catherine MacArthur
