Dear Sir or Madam,

I submitted a Freedom of Information request on 18th May 2008. My
request was as follows.

How many GP's who have retired but continued to practice, since
2004, have had their entry on the performers list removed and had
to reapply?

How many GP's who have retired but continued to practice, since
2004, have had their entry on the performers list ammended and not
had to reapply?

A response was due by 17th June 2008, under the Freedom of
Information Act, but has not been received. I would be grateful if
you could give this matter your full attention.

Further to your request dated 18th May 2008, I would like to sincerely
apologise for the lengthy delay in forwarding our response. Our
response is shown below:

How many GP's who have retired but continued to practice, since 2004,
have had their entry on the performers list removed and had to reapply?,

How many GP's who have retired but continued to practice, since 2004,
have had their entry on the performers list ammended and not had to
reapply?,

Since 2004 we have had 6 GPs retire and continue topractice without
making a new application.

In the event that you are dissatisfied with the outcome to your request
for information you have the right to submit a complaint. Any complaint
received will give rise to a full reconsideration of the handling of the
case as well as the final decision.
