Dear K Laing,

Thank you for your information request of 3 August 2010, made under the
Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA). Aberdeen City
Council (ACC) has completed the necessary search for the information
requested.

I am writing to find out how many empty properties for rental that
there is in Aberdeen city council stock at present.
64 empty properties available for relet immediately which the
Selections team are short listing applicants for.

There are also:
102 empty properties undergoing repair work
87 empty properties which are undergoing major repair works and will be
unavailable for a considerable period of time due to asbestos, dry rot,
structural repair work etc.
