Hospitality

John Widdop made this Freedom of Information request to Lancaster University

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Lancaster University should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Sir or Madam,
Under the freedom of information act, I'd like to ask the following
question

With the large quantities of building work being carried out on
Campus and clearly a large quantity of work being given to
architects, consultants and contractors. I'd like to request;

a) in the last twelve months how many offers of hospitality have
been received by the University's estates department
b) for each of the offers that have been accepted
bi) what form did the hospitality take
bii) the number and grade of staff that partook in the hospitality
biii) the estimated value of the hospitality

Many thanks

John

Yours faithfully,

"We have evidence that you are using a pseudonym and this renders the request invalid."

What a strange response. Even their FoI site that they refer to says that they must respond to requests from "any person or organisation in the world."
