1)The total number of people who were registered as homeless in
2008.

2) The total amount of funds allocated for any cause related to
homelessness throughout all of the council's departments in 2008.

Good morning

Further to my acknowledgement below, I am now able to respond as follows:

1)The total number of people who were registered as homeless in
2008.
In 2008/9 147 people were accepted onto the homeless register.

2) The total amount of funds allocated for any cause related to
homelessness throughout all of the council's departments in 2008.
The amount allocated to homelessness in the financial year 2008/09 was
£2,581,8711. There was also £721,961 of external money received. The
net effect being £1,859,910.
