Dear Stibbs, Lian (L&G),
Under Expenditure, you list 'contracts' as £5.7 million. Please
could I have this item broken down into how much is spent on bus
companies, taxis, and other types of transport, as well as how many
young people are served by each service.
Yours sincerely,

Dear S Hale,
Based on a 10% sample the average occupancy of a taxi (all vehicles up to
8 seats) would be about 4 whereas the average occupancy of a minibus (9 to
18 seats) would be about 12. Pro rata this would equate to approximately
236 pupils using taxis and 672 on minibuses.
Yours sincerely,
Lian Stibbs
