SENT ON BEHALF OF: [email address] (Bea
Belgrave-Jones, Information Access Officer)

Dear Mrs Batchelor
Reference 741285
Acknowledgement of your application for Information from the Council
Dated 3 April 2009
We apologise for the delay in acknowledging your e-mail request for
information. The application has been forwarded to us. You have supplied
enough details for us to locate the information that you have requested.

Once the information has been identified the Authority may also ask that a
fee be paid for processing and delivering the information to you. Details
of any fee to be charged will be notified to you as soon as possible.

The Council may decide not to supply the information because it is subject
to an `exemption'. Some of the exemptions are `absolute', for example, if
the request is for information which was provided in confidence, and some
only apply in cases where it is felt that the public interest is better
served by withholding the information than providing the information.

The Council would normally supply the applicant with paper copies of the
information requested. If you require access to the information in another
format, please let me know.

Any future correspondence or questions you may have in relation to this
matter should be sent to me at [email address]

Yours sincerely

Thank you for your response.

Please could you clarify whether the one known child proved to be
an actual abuse case or an unfounded suspicion?
