Dear Sir or Madam,

I'd like to know if any Sefton Borough Council employees have
received invitations to attend, or have attended, any type of
course or talk at the pro-EU organisation/think-tank known as
'Common Purpose'.

If there have been, I'd like to know the names & job titles of
those employees, and who funded them.

Yours faithfully,
Thomas: Speed

I refer to your request of 1.6.09.

To my knowledge and having considered available records, the following
employees have participated in the (Merseyside) Common Purpose
Programme.

Mike Fogg (then, Personnel Manager) and Joe Robinson (then, Assistant
Housing Director) in 1997. This was funded by the Council.

As you will note I was a participant and I am now the Personnel
Director. Mr. Robinson progressed to the position of Housing Director
and then HMRI Director and is now retired.

Regards

Mike Fogg
Personnel Director
