Re Elmbridge Borough Council Planning Application 2008/1600
Kindly inform me whether the EA accepts the developer's omission of
the statutory 20% allowance for climate change in the plans for
this proposed development? If the EA accepts this, kindly supply
the reasons.

Please find attached a copy of the response sent to you on 10 February
2009. Attachment 11 is a letter dated 24 January 2008 (Ref:
SL/2007/102360/01-L01) from Jack Hayes to Ann Biggs, Elmbridge Borough
Council.
This letter details our conditions, including the requirement for the
developer to make account for the 20% allowance for climate change.
Please also find attached a copy of my email to you dated 24 February
2009. In this response it is also explained that our conditions
incorporate an allowance for climate change.
You should note that this information is based on that currently
