Dear Sir or Madam,

Please supply the following information under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000:

Please could you provide me with information in regards to the cost
of running a Graduate Recruitment Scheme within your authority. I
would appreciate a general overview of the cost and if possible a
breakdown of the cost of different areas i.e. recruitment costs,
training, etc. Thank you for your assistance.

Thank you for your request for information which was received by
Manchester City Council on 12 November and has been considered under the
provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

In response to your request, I have summarised the information as follows:

We currently have 2 graduates on the corporate graduate scheme and the
costs of the scheme so far this year to date have been *35000. This is
salary costs.
There are graduates recruited and developed in many parts of the council
as part of services' workforce, in addition to the above.
