Dear Charlotte Halls,
Thank you for your response. However I am not requesting your
response to the Public Consultation.
On 17 September, Graham Badman via a DCSF email made a further call
for evidence to Local Authorities regarding the Review/Report into
Elective Home
Education.
I am requesting your response to that call.
The documents requested by the DCSF can be found at the link below:

Note I have inserted a space before the word 'publications' to

I would also like to point out that your response letter is
contradictory.
Firstly you state that Nottingham did not respond to this call, but
further down the page, my Freedom of Information request is refused
under section 40(2) exemption.
The DCSF state that Nottingham City did provide information via
this call:
http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/lo...
In addition, please note that what I am requesting is generic data,
not personal data as suggested by your refusal.
Please re-examine your records and provide me with the requested
information as a matter of urgency.

Dear Information Governance,
Further information has come to my attention that since your reply
stating that Nottingham City made no response to this call for
evidence.
In a Parliamentary question about Mr Badman's further call for
evidence, the DCFS provide a table which list Local Authority
responses to one of the questions asked in this data request of 17
September 2009:
http://www.theyworkforyou.com/wrans/?id=...
You will note that Nottingham City is listed. This supports the
DCSF's inclusion of the Authority in it list of 74 respondents:
http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/lo...
Therefore please reexamine your records and provide Nottingham
City's response to this call as a matter of urgency.
Many thanks

New figures show 410 under-18s in the city were placed on a child protection plan during in 2008/09.
This meant that 74 youngsters out of every 10,000 in the city were referred to social services and considered to be at risk of harm.
33% of the 4,835 children referred to social services in the last financial year had been so before in the same 12-month period.
After a child is referred, a child protection conference is held if concern is sufficient. The conference can then place the child on a protection plan.
In Nottingham there were 395 of these last year, compared with 255 four years ago. Of the cases last year, only 24% were not then put under a plan."
