Dear Sir or Madam

I am writing to respond to your information request FOI61732.

This is the response made to Graham Badman's call on 17 September 2009 for
further evidence regarding the Report into Home Education:

Number of NEET EHE leavers 4

The following information came from Connexions:
Number of 16-18 NEET 219 out of cohort of 2840 (8% of this pop).

I was unable to answer with certainty the number of children who were EHE
prior to their disappearance, although I believe it to be 0.

We gave a 0 estimated response to EHE subject to child protection plan.

We gave the population of EHE in the LA as well under 1% - 34 in total
known to us.

All of these receiving education and co-operating with monitoring.

This concludes your request FOI61732.

Can you please ask them that when they say all are co-operating with monitoring, if this includes any families who do not consent to visit but do send in plans or annual statements? Ta

Dear Chris Daniels,

Thank you for your response.

However I would be grateful if you could clarify the following:

Where you state that all are co-operating with monitoring, does
this include families who do not consent to a visit but do send in
plans or annual statements?

Many thanks

Yours sincerely,

S Tyler
