Elective Home

I am requesting Trafford's response to that call.

Please confirm that you have received said request and that the 20
days will commence from 8 October.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I made a Freedom of Information request on 7th October, which is
now overdue a response.
It has now been several weeks since our last correspondence and
therefore I am requesting an internal review.

The information requested is below:

On 17 September, Graham Badman via a DCSF email made a further call
for evidence to Local Authorities regarding the Review/Report into
Elective Home
Education.

I am requesting your response to that call.

The documents requested by the DCSF can be found at the link below:

publications/documents/laeelectivehomeeducation/

Note I have inserted a space before the word 'publications' to
ensure the link is visible.

Please note that I am NOT requesting your Public Consultation
response.

Please supply the information requested as a matter of urgency.

Yours faithfully,

S Tyler

Dear S Tyler

Re: Response to second request for internal review

I am writing in response to your e-mail dated 21 December 2009, in which
you request a second internal review of your freedom of information
request submitted on 7 October 2009.

I should like to clarify that my e-mail of 27 October 2009 clearly
states that we do not hold the information that you have requested.

Further to your follow-up request, I stated on 30 October that we are
endeavouring
to obtain a copy of our response, and we will forward this once we have
obtained it.
This is still the current position. The relevant officer has pursued the
matter with the
DCSF but without success.

I am sure you will appreciate therefore that the matter is out of our
hands.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Yours sincerely

Although this is marked as "Long Overdue", this is not the case. The request for a review, based on the grounds of non-response, was inappropriate, as the request dated 7th October 2009 was responded to on 27th October. This response stated that Trafford Council did not hold the information requested.
