Dear Mr Ross,
I have already provided an address for correspondence, it is an
email address. My request is already a valid request under the Act.
I am not required to provide a second address and I do not intend
to do so.
You have an obligation to send me the information under Section 1
of the Act. I suggest you meet your obligation using the address I
have provided already.
Yours faithfully,
John Cross

Good Morning Mr Cross,
I understand that you have been in correspondence with our office
regarding the above.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide a postal address so
the papers re: Freedom of Information Case Reference FS50078412 can be
issued to you. The reason this has been asked for, is that the amount of
documents is extremely excessive and it would be helpful if we could send
it by post rather than by email.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards
Tony Conte

Dear Mr Conte,
I am not yet persuaded of the benefit to providing a postal
address.
- Would it not take the same time to scan these documents as it
would take to photocopy them?
- Do you not hold some of the documents in electronic form already?
- Is the Scotland Office planning to publish all these documents
online in its disclosure log?
Yours faithfully,
John Cross

"I asked the Scotland Office for this material after the commissioner's judgment was announced. They only agreed to send me hard copies, but someone else has managed to get them to post electronic versions at the FOI site What Do They Know."
