As you will be aware, Weymouth & Portland Borough Council has a duty to

Dear Mr Bala,
With regards to your request, I can confirm that we do use
Freepost/Business Reply services for some projects.
I regret to say, however, that we cannot disclose any details of the
addresses. Under Section 17(2), the Council can refuse disclosure in
order to consider any exemptions that we believe may apply. The
exemptions in question are:
1. S21 - The information requested is available by other means
2. S31 - There is a potential threat to public funds
3. S36 - The disclosure could have a detrimental effect on the conduct
of the Council's affairs
4. S38 - Health and Safety. We have an obligation to protect the
health & safety of our employees and also members of public when on
council property
5. S43 - The disclosure may have a detrimental effect on the commercial
interests of the authority
6. S44 - There is a legal prohibition preventing the some or all the
information
In line with the regulations laid out under S7(2), we must indicate when
we expect to complete your request. For the purposes of this request, the
estimated date is 17^th April 2009. We will however, endeavour to
complete your request well within this period. With the exception of S21
& S44, the request must also justify the Public Interest in maintaining
the exemption along with explanation why.
