Dear Mr Bala
Further to your Freedom of Information request FOI61309 for all Freepost
addresses registered to Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, full
addresses including licence number (or new style licence number), address
and postcode for all Royal Mail Response products used ( Business Reply ,
Business Reply Plus Freepost, Freepost Plus ) by Royal Borough of Windsor
and Maidenhead. I am writing to inform you that I am refusing your request
for the details of the licences. Royal Mail have advised us that the
disclosure of the licence numbers could lead to them being used
fraudulently.
This is a refusal notice under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information
Act 2000. The exemption I am applying is Section 31 1 (a) - Law
Enforcement. Information which is not exempt information by virtue of
section 30 is exempt information if its disclosure under this Act would,
or would likely to, prejudice the prevention or detection of crime.
This concludes your request FOI61309
