1)how many requests for information under the act has the council
received?

2)how many have times has the council failed to respond within the
statutory 20 day period?

Your request for information has now been consideredand information
requested is set out below.In answer to your 2 questions ;
1.For the period 1 April 2006 -30 June 2008 to the end of the last
quarter(30 September) prior to your request 486 requests appear to have
been received of which 11 appear to have missed the original target
turnaround.It should be noted that the Council has treated as one
request those communications received containing many questions on
unrelated matters.Therefore one could argue that the request nos have
ben understated if anything.
2.During the above period it seems that 11 requests have not been
finalised within the 20 day period.
