Freedom of Information Act Request re Pavement Parking
A Freedom of Information request to Dyfed Powys Police by Flopsy Designs
The request was successful.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to know Dyfed Powys Police's current policy
on vehicles parking in an inconsiderate manner on pavements and
what is a person to do if he sees such an act. This is very common
in the St Dogmaels and nearby Cardigan area in which I live. Not
only is it dangerous when there is
no room left on the pavement for pedestrians, buggies and
wheelchair users but pavements are not designed for vehicle parking
and the damage done to the pavements must add to the council's
expenditure let alone the incalculable cost of pavement users being
injured on the road when they are unable to use the pavement.
Yours faithfully,
Flopsy Designs
