have in place regarding the fragmentation of existing rights of way
networks caused by changes to rights of way (for example,
reclassification, extinguishing, traffic restriction orders).

Dear Mr Davis

. Any guidelines, policies or advice Wiltshire Council has in
place regarding the fragmentation of existing rights of way networks
caused by changes to rights of way (for example, reclassification,
extinguishing, traffic restriction orders).

requested within the statutory timescale of 20 working days as defined by
the Freedom of Information Act 2000, subject to the information not being
exempt or containing a reference to a third party.

When we have located the information, if there is a fee for providing this
information, I will write with a fees notice to advise you how much the
council will charge to respond to your request. I may also contact you if
the request needs to be clarified; this is to ensure that we provide you
with the information you require.

Dear Mr Davis

Further to my email dated 12^th June, the information held by Wiltshire
Council has been collated and the following response is provided:

1. The guidelines, policies and advice notes are within The Rights of Way
Improvement Plan for Wiltshire Council 2008-2012, where we have also
taken the opportunity to revise our policies and procedures regarding
the entire service provided by the Rights of Way Section. The
relevant sections are:

o Page 23/24 paragraph 4.6.3
o Page 43, Improvements 1 & 2
o Page 49 paragraph 8.2.4
o Pages 51, 53 and 55 detailing the relevant policies and procedures,
including guidelines where appropriate.

Dear Mr Mullens,

Thank you for your prompt reply to my request. I've only had a
chance to briefly look at the specific parts of the plan which you
highlighted, which answered my query - but I'd also like to say
that the Council's Rights of Way Improvement Plan looks extremely
impressive.
