Information Request

Thank you for your email of 6 January 2009, requesting information
regarding contractors and consultants for PCT new Build and refurbishment
under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please find attached our
leaflet giving guidance on our procedure for managing requests for
information.

Information Request

Further to your email of 6 January 2009, requesting information regarding
contractors and consultants for new build under the Freedom of Information
Act 2000, we are pleased to be able to provide you with the information
you requested.

Q:I would like to request a complete list of contractors and

consultants that the trust uses on new builds and refurbishments.

The PCT has a number of ways to deliver refurbishments and new builds.

The refurbishment and smaller projects are delivered through a service
level contract with the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Mental Health NHS
Foundation Trust. Their estates department holds the framework contracts
with the consultants and contractors who work with us to achieve the
works.

As this information is held by the Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Mental
Health NHS Foundation Trust, I would advise you to contact them for the
detail you are requesting.

For larger PCT projects, a tender process is undertaken whereby
competitive proposals are formally invited through an advert. This is of
course open to anyone in the market to respond.
