M Bimmler made this Freedom of Information request to Cabinet Office
Cabinet Office did not have the information requested.
From: M Bimmler
23 March 2009
Dear Sir or Madam,
I'm referring to an email I recently received from a Mr Michael
Pigott in the Cabinet Office, accessible online at
http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/43...
In pertinent part his reply states "...and so as a matter of policy
we are unable to provide you with any further details"
I would like to know which policy Mr Pigott was referring to and to
have a copy of said policy.
If Mr Pigott was indeed thinking of any (exemption) clause in the
FOI Act while writing this sentence, I would be interested in
knowing whether the Cabinet Office regularly refers to binding
legislature in force as "policy".
Yours faithfully,
Michael Bimmler
