FOI exceptions

Dear Sir/Madam,

I refer to your request for information which was received on 26th June,
2009 and has been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

The specific information you requested was, of the 1,862 requests
received by 3rd June, 2009, the number answered in, the number refused,
(in full or in part) and which exemptions under the FOI act were used.

In response, of the 1,862 requests received by 3rd June, 2009, 1,044
have been responded to in full, 756 refused in whole or in part and 62
have been withdrawn or are awaiting clarification/fees.

The exemptions applied were as follows:
