Dear Sir or Madam,
To the FCO's knowledge, in which of the British territories and
dependencies listed below:
(a) are same-sex civil partnerships currently able to be conducted
under law, or are in the process of being introduced?
(b) have such unions actually been conducted?
(c) are such unions, if originally conducted in the UK, recognised,
and/or associated rights upheld, by the laws of the territories in
question?
Anguilla;
Ascension Island;
Bailiwick of Guernsey;
Bailiwick of Jersey;
Bermuda;
British Antarctic Territory;
British Indian Ocean Territory;
British Virgin Islands;
Cayman Islands;
Falkland Islands;
Gibraltar;
Isle of Man;
Montserrat;
Pitcairn Islands;
Saint Helena;
South Georgia & the South Sandwich Islands;
Sovereign Base Areas Cyprus;
Tristan da Cunha group;
Turks & Caicos Islands
I also wondered whether the FCO or any other government department
has made representations or suggestions to any of the territory
governments with regard to introducing such legislation?
