Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like written confirmation or denial concerning whether or
not water in Scotland is fluoridated.
If so, i require all details held as to when fluoridation began ,
precise dates, at which water treatment centres, the amounts and
over what periods. I require information of who authorised the
process and what Act or statutes gave authority for forced
medication of all citizens without warning or consent
Yours faithfully,
Conrad

Dear Sir/Madam,
This e-mail is in response to your request for information that was
received on 26 May.
Scottish Water do not dose fluoride into our public water supplies.
Any decision relating to the fluoridation of public water supplies is
the responsibility of the Scottish Government and individual Health
Authorities. Our role would purely be a technical one in commenting on
the feasibility of such a proposal and subsequently implementing a
dosing strategy at the appropriate treatment works. I have no knowledge
of any proposal to introduce this in Scotland.
You can appeal if you are dissatisfied with this decision. You must
make your appeal within forty days of receiving this e-mail. Please see
the attachment included with this e-mail for details of our appeals
procedure.
Yours faithfully
Richard Duncan
