Dear Rob,

Further to your request under the Freedom of Information Act ref:
JA/FOI/07374, I am now in a position to respond.

Your question:

Could I obtain the number of people who were diagnosed with febrile

neutropenia and the number of deaths due to febrile neutropenia for

2008?

Answer:

Our patients are variously treated depending on the tumour site stage in
their disease and patient preference in both Northampton and Oxford, as
well as Milton Keynes. We therefore do not collect such data as it would
be incomplete and in accurate.

I trust you find this information useful. Please do not hesitate to
contact me if you require further assistance. I have attached a copy of
the trust's leaflet on how we deal with Freedom of Information Requests,
should you require additional information about the process.

Please note that any re-use of this information will be subject to the
`Re-use of Public Sector Information Regulations.' Please contact Milton
Keynes PCT for further information.
