Failed applications for the "Elizabeth Cross"?

Dear Ministry of Defence,

(1) Please advise how many applications for the 'Elizabeth Cross'
have failed?

(2) For what reasons have the applications failed?

(3) Please detail with numbers?

(4) Have any of these failures been linked to former officers and
soldiers of either the Ulster Defence Regiment (UDR) or Royal Irish
Regiments

(6) For what reasons have the applications failed?

(7) Please detail with numbers?

Thank you for your reply. Your original reply must have got lost in
the system somewhere.

I appreciate that it would be cost prohibitive to examine and
collate the reasons for the full 475 failed applications.

However, I am still interested in the reasons for failure of the 37
ex UDR / R Irish Elizabeth Cross applications.

Would you collate the reasons, without individual names, for the 37
failures under the 4 recognised categories?

I am trusting that this request will fall woithin the FOI cost
limits.
