External Window Cleaning

T. Morgan made this Freedom of Information request to Camden Borough Council

The request was successful.

From: T. Morgan

3 August 2009

Dear Sir or Madam,

Can you please inform me whether or not Camden Council as landlord
to thousands of tenants has a external window cleaning service in
place for tenants to access when they need to have their windows
cleaned?

If a cleaning service is not already in place can you inform me of
whether or not Camden Council landlord would consider introducing
such a service?

Yours faithfully,

T. Morgan

Dear Peter Williams,

Thank you for your below response:

1.The Council does employ contractors for window cleaning. However,
these services are not operated as reactive services for individual
tenants to call on.

2. We are sorry to inform you that this information is not held.
The Council has no information on plans to bring in a reactive
window cleaning service.
--------------------------

Further to my 2 original questions please inform me whether or not
Camden Council as Landlord is responsible for the maintainance of
windows in their properties?

Yours sincerely,

T. Morgan

Dear Peter Williams,

Not sure whats going on but you keep sending the same reply.

On another matter relating to FOI requests - the FOI request I made
to you a week or so ago - I re-iterate that as a matter of urgency
I need the information for the upcoming Crown Court hearing.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Sir or Madam,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of
Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Camden Borough
Council's handling of my FOI request requesting the names of the
council people who met with DC Cross at Clifton house. Camden
council is refusing to confirm or deny it holds the information.

I take this delaying tactic stance as Camden council deliberately
obstructing me from obtaining information that is relevent to a
upcoming Crown Court case - an obstruction of justice.

Yours faithfully,

T. Morgan

Dear Peter Williams,

Thank you for your response.

I thought it would help that I brought to your attention that the
response you sent doesn't belong to this information request but to
a more recent information request I put in titled 'Housing
Management Costs'.

I appreciate that you probably have lots of information requests to
deal with and how easy it could be to send the wrong response to
the wrong request. If you would be so kind to take this into
account when responding it would help a great deal and would be
appreciated.

Have a nice xmas and a good new year.

Yours sincerely,

T. Morgan

Dear Peter Williams,

You do realise that not only have you totally disregarded what I
said about sending the wrong responses to the wrong information
requests but this time your response (sent to a public forum) has
included my home address in it. Perhaps you would care to give me
your home address and I can publish it on a public forum?

Please class this response as a complaint about you breaking the
Data Protection Act and pass it onto the relevent person to deal
with.

Yours sincerely,

T. Morgan

Richard Taylor left an annotation (11 January 2010)

On the 11th of January a mis-directed response in which the council had accidentally included the home address of the requestor.

The council has provided a new copy of their response; this has been placed on the correct thread, at:
