financial or calendar year 2006;

b) the proportion or absolute amount, if any, of the sum (a) spent
on licenses or other fees to Ordnance Survey;

c) the proportion or absolute amount, if any, of the sum (a) which
was paid for by council tax;

d) the proportion or absolute amount, if any, of the sum (c) broken
down in to council tax house bands on a per-household basis.

I enclose the following information that you requested under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act.

a) The sum in total, if any, spent on maps, map procurement,
processing and distribution on-line and in paper form during either
financial or calendar year 2006;

Total costs associated with map procurement, processing and distribution are £84,600 for 06-07 financial year (Apr 06 - Mar 07) of which £51,900 is officer time in using maps online and in paper form.

b) the proportion or absolute amount, if any, of the sum (a) spent on
licenses or other fees to Ordnance Survey;

Of the remaining balance, licences and other fees paid to Ordnance Survey = £25,900 (31% of total costs).

c) the proportion or absolute amount, if any, of the sum (a) which
was paid for by council tax;

d) the proportion or absolute amount, if any, of the sum (c) broken
down in to council tax house bands on a per-household basis.

No costs have been directly paid for by council tax.
