Further to your email, dated 15th November, in which you request the
disclosure of information under the provisions of the above Act, we are
now in a position to respond.

Lancashire County Council does not hold the information you have
requested.

The County Council has not commissioned any maintenance repair projects
for Rockwood Nursery over the previous three years. However, under the
schools scheme of delegation (powers and finance), most buildings and
grounds maintenance repairs/improvements are now commissioned by
maintained schools and nurseries themselves.

In addition to delegated revenue budgets, schools and nurseries also
have annual devolved capital allocations which are provided for premises
related improvements, maintenance repairs, and ICT equipment. Although
the County Council hold records of school capital spend amounts, the
records do not indicate whether the work was intended as an improvement,
or a repair or maintenance project.

Part IV of Schedule 1 to the Freedom of Information Act defines schools
as separate public authorities for the purposes of the Act. As such,
