Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to make an FOI request re: the "Every Home Counts"
website (http://www.everyhomecounts.info/).
Elmbridge Borough Council is a member of the Every Home Counts
partnership (http://www.everyhomecounts.info/about), which is why I
am directing this FOI request to the council.
I would appreciate it if you would supply the following
information:
How much it cost to procure the Empty Homes Website
(http://www.everyhomecounts.info/).
How much has been budgeted to operate the Empty Homes Website in
the future (e.g. for the financial year 08/09, 09/10, etc).
How many empty homes have been reported through the website.
Yours faithfully,
Etienne Pollard

Dear Etienne,
Thank you for your recent freedom of information request, which has
been forwarded to me for a response.
The Every Home Counts Initiative was set up following a successful bid
to the Regional Housing Board by a number of Surrey and Hampshire Local
Authorities.
The overall budget for the Every Home Counts Initiative was £23k over 3
years, which has been funded entirely by the funds from this bid.
The site was set up and is maintained by Woking Borough Council.
To date there has been one empty property referral through this site
for Elmbridge. However I have no information as to the number of
referrals received by the other members.
I trust this answers all your questions, however should you wish any
further information, my contact details are listed below.
Regards
