where you asked for a spreadsheet containing all beneficiaries of funding
from the EU Cohesion Programme. I can confirm that we hold information
relevant to your request and that this information is published on our

The South West Competitiveness and Employment European Regional
Development Fund (ERDF) Programme project list can be found at

The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Convergence ERDF Programme project list

Broadly speaking both programmes are designed to:

* increase the rate of innovation and knowledge in the region*s businesses
and improve the links between higher and further education and business

- For example, the marine renewable energy institute PRIMaRE has so far
enhanced its intellectual research capacity through the appointment of ten
new academic staff, has access to 60 researchers and plans to spend up to
£6 million on the latest equipment.

* focus on the development of businesses with high-growth potential that
will offer higher paid jobs, through enterprise and growth, across a range
of sectors

- For example, the internationalisation project is encouraging direct
investment in the South West by overseas companies

* increase the level of enterprise in some of the region's most deprived
neighbourhoods

- For example, in Bodmin in Cornwall the Strategic Investment Framework is
working to expand the type of sites and premises available in order to
provide a range of good quality, well-paid jobs for the local workforce.
