For your information, the Act defines a number of exemptions that may
prevent release of the information you have requested. There will be an

they may be consulted prior to a decision being taken on whether or not to
release the information to you.

There may a fee payable for this information to cover photocopying,
postage and any other production costs. This will be considered and you
will be informed if a fee is payable. In this event the fee must be paid

limit for responses is suspended until receipt of the payment.

Our response: Equality and diversity is an important commitment for the
council in terms of meeting our legal responsibilities and ensuring fair
treatment for everyone who works for us or uses services in County Durham.

The spend to date for 2010/11 is £129,369.31 and the projected spend for
the whole year is £215,242.76

Employee costs £210,985.46
Transport costs £586.20
Supplies and services £3,671.10
Total £215,242.76

At the current time, there are no planned changes due to reductions in government grant funding.
