Dear Sir or Madam,
Could you tell me when (ie the date) the decision was taken not to
include NIO staff, that is, to exclude NIO staff from the 'Equal

Yours faithfully,

Dear Mr Andrews
I apologise for the delay in responding to your email below. The NIO
wrote to you on 28 September advising you that as we do not hold any
recorded information in relation to your request it could not be
considered under the FOI Act. We also advised you that as you were
seeking the answer to a specific query our Personnel Division would
contact you directly with further explanation of the issues you raise.
As your request was not handled under FOI legislation we cannot conduct
an Internal Review. I have spoken to Personnel Division and they have
confirmed that they will be in touch with you next week.
Yours Sincerely
NIO FOI Team

Dear FOI,
I am not completely satisfied with the response I have gotten from
the NIO.
I have been repeatedly told by them that my request cannot be
treated as an FOI request because it was a specific query. I think
it is clear what information it is that I am seeking and they are
wasting my time.
To clarify what i am requesting - I am seeking any information that
the NIO has on the issue of Equal Pay for junior members of the
NIO. That is information on agendas, minutes of meetings, memos,
correspondence in regards this issue.
I find it remarkable and frankly unbelieveable that the NIO claim
they do not hold any information on this subject.
I request this be handled under FOI legislation.
Yours sincerely,
G Andrews
