Enforcement forders for replacing shop fronts in Brixton
A Freedom of Information request to Lambeth Borough Council by Richard Pope

Dear Sir or Madam,
Council development plans and a recent ruling by the Planning
Inspectorate have stated that shops in the Brixton Town Centre
Conservation Area should have full frontages. And where shutters
are present on shop fronts, they should be of the perforated kind
(so as to lighten the streets at night and deter street crime).
There have also been many public undertakings buy councillors to
this effect.
I would therefore like to request information relating to
enforcement (proposed, discussed or implemented) by the council to
conform with the above. And any surveys that the council has
undertaken to assess the scale of the problem.
Yours faithfully,
Richard Pope
