Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to request the following information under the Freedom
of Information (Scotland) Act 2002:
Please tell me how many of the following your local authority
employed/employs during each of the years 2006-07, 2007-08, 2008-09
and 2009-10:
a) classroom assistants who help either specifically or as part of
their generic role, to support children with additional needs
individually or collectively, in their education;
b) specialist staff to support children in their education with
additional needs individually or collectively, across all
departments and budget heads;
c) other types of auxiliary/assistant/staff either specifically or
as part of their generic role to support children with additional
needs individually or collectively, in their education.
If you need any clarification in relation to this requests, please
let me know.

is overdue. I have been discussing your request the Officers for the
Education Department. At one point consideration was being giving to
the application of 'Cost of Compliance' however they have advised that
they should be able to provide a response to your request although this
is not expected to be completed until the end of next week.

I refer to your request for information dated 9 November. Please accept
