Dear Sir or Madam,
I am interested in researching 'blue plaque' schemes that are in
operation, or have previously been in operation, by local
authorities.
The Wikipedia page
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_plaque...
suggests that there is a 'thriving' blue plaque scheme in
Edinburgh.
Could you tell me whether this scheme is, or was, run by Edinburgh
Council?
If so, could you provide, if available, a list of plaques that the
council has erected. Preferably including the location of the
plaque, the inscription upon it, and the date that it was erected.
Pleas also advise if you have any other information about such a
blue plaque scheme, such as the criteria for inclusion, and so on.
Yours faithfully,
Frankie Roberto
