Dear Sir or Madam,
Please supply the following information under Freedom of
Information Act 2000:
For each of the last three financial years(05/06)and (06/07) and
(07/08) please state if any drugs seized by your force have then
been either lost or stolen from you or otherwise unaccounted for?
If so please give a date for each incident along with the type of
drug, the quantity and a brief account of how it was
lost/stolen/unaccounted for.

Dear Mr. Bird,
FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 464/12/2008
I write in connection with your request for information which was received
by Dorset Police on 3^rd December 2008. I note you seek access to the
following information:
For each of the last three financial years (05/06) and (06/07) and (07/08)
please state if any drugs seized by your force have then been either lost
or stolen from you or otherwise unaccounted for?
If so please give a date for each incident along with the type of drug,
the quantity and a brief account of how it was lost/stolen/unaccounted
for.
Your request will now be considered in accordance with the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 (the Act). You will receive a response within the
statutory timescale of 20 working days as defined by the Act, subject to
the information not being exempt or containing a reference to a third
party. In some circumstances Dorset Police may be unable to achieve this
deadline. If this is likely you will be informed and given a revised
timescale at the earliest opportunity.
There may be a fee payable for the retrieval, collation and provision of
the information you request. If this is the case you will be informed and
the 20 working day timescale will be suspended until we receive payment
from you. If you choose not to make payment then your request will remain
unanswered.
Some requests may also require either full or partial transference to
another public authority in order to answer your query in the fullest
possible way. Again, you will be informed if this is the case.

Following receipt of your request searches were conducted within Dorset Police to locate information relevant to your request. You specifically requested the following information

If so please give a date for each incident along with the type of drug, the quantity and a brief account of how it was lost/stolen/unaccounted for.
Result of Searches
I have been unable to locate any record of any such incident occurring.
