I would be grateful if you could provide the following information
as soon as possible.
The number of Penalty Charge Notices (PCN’s) for double yellow line
parking restrictions issued on Langford Road, Peterborough within
the last 24 months, with totals for both years?
I would also like to know if there have been any amendments to the

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - INFORMATION REQUEST - R-1076
Dear Shirly
Your request for information has now been considered and the information
requested is as follows
The number of Penalty Charge Notices (PCN's) for
double yellow line
parking restrictions issued on Langford Road,
Peterborough within
the last 24 months, with totals for both years?
01/11/2006 to 31/10/2007 10 PCNs
01/11/2007 to 31/10/2008 18 PCNs
I would also like to know if there have been any
amendments to the
double yellow lines on Langford Road in the past
ten years, along
with your policy and procedure for implanting these
changes, if
any.
There have been no changes to the restrictions in Langford Road since 27
February 1992, when the restrictions were introduced.
The area was last recently reviewed in 2006 as part of the Council's
Parking Enforcement Project which undertook a review of all parking
restrictions throughout Peterborough. No changes to Langford Road were
determined as being necessary at that time. Future requests would be
investigated and considered by the Traffic Management Team, based at
Bridge House.
Following the investigation and should any changes be required they
would be advertised and made in accordance with the procedure stipulated
in "The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and
Wales) Regulations 1996", after which they would be implemented by the
Council's road marking and signing contractors as required.
