Dog Breeders With Less Than 10 Dogs of Breeding Age

holders, which was received on 23rd January, 2009 and is being dealt
with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. We are therefore

Dear Sir/Madam,

I refer to your request for information regarding dog breeding, which was
received on 23rd January, 2009 and has been dealt with under the Freedom

The specific information you requested was the number of licence holders
in the Carmarthenshire that have licences for less than 10 dogs of
breeding age.

In response, I can advise that licences are issued on the basis of the
number of breeding bitches. Accordingly, I can confirm that there are
currently 8 premises that are licensed for less than 10 breeding bitches.
