Dear Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission for England
(English Heritage),

It has recently been reported that English Heritage has failed to
meet targets for increasing the diversity of visitors to places in
your care.

Please could you release copies of all documents relating to a)
these targets, b) discussions which have taken place about them, c)
measures which have been discussed, implemented or rejected aimed
at meeting these targets, d) audits and monitoring of your progress
in meeting these targets, e) the failure to meet the targets, f)
media coverage of this and g) any future plans for remedying the
situation.

Please include emails, other correspondence, minutes of meetings
and any other documents which relate to this subject.

Dear Ms Davis,

Re: Freedom of Information Request - English Heritage Visitor Diversity

I am in receipt of your email, dated 12^th January 2010, for response. In
your email you have requested all correspondence regarding targets for
increasing the diversity of visitors to places in English Heritage's
care. You have asked for the release of all documents specifically
related to the following:

a) The targets set for increasing visitor diversity

b) Discussions which have taken place about the targets that have been set

c) Measures which have been discussed, implemented or rejected aimed at
meeting these targets

d) Audits and monitoring of English Heritage's progress in meeting these
targets

e) The failure to meet the targets

f) Media coverage of this topic

g) Any future plans for remedying the situation

I note that this request has been marked as having received a
partial response. While information has not been provided for
certains Parts of the request this is because it is not held.

The request is written on the assumption that EH did not meet
certain targets and so asked for information relating to this. As
EH met the targets in question no information in held in relation
how we will rectify not having do ne so. We believe that the
response that has been provided is complete.
