Dear Sir or Madam
This request under the FOI Act is in relation to digital sector
business funding made my One North East for two current programmes.
I would be grateful if you could provide the following information
in relation to funding provided to the Codeworks Digital Evaluation
Vehicle (DEV) programme and the Difference Engine programme for the
financial years 2009/10 and 2010/11:
- The name of the applicant applying for the funding
- Amount of funding provided
- The legal entity that the funding has been provided to
- The target number of businesses to receive direct support as a
result of the funding
For the Codeworks Digital Evaluation Vehicle (DEV) programme I
would be grateful if you could provide the following information:
- Confirmation that business
es will receive capital investment of around £20k (as per press
release

against a matched investment from the business of around £10k
- What form does the match investment from the business have to be
in, eg capital, in kind etc.
- How is the remainder of the £1.9m for this programme going to be
used in providing direct support for eligible target number of
businesses
- Confirmation that the remainder of the £1.9m is not used for
funding activities not directly relating to this programme
For the Difference Engine programme I would be grateful if you
could provide the following information:
- Who will be the legal entitiy(ies) providing the £20k investment
capital and holding the 8% shareholding in private businesses

clarification on FOI requests that are long overdue and not
complete:
For the Difference Engine programme I would be grateful if you
could provide the following information:
- Who will be the legal entitiy(ies) providing the £20k investment
