Dear Stockport Borough Council,
Please may I come to the premises of presumably NPS Stockport and
read the files relating to the development at St Petersgate - the
new office block and public realm space. I believe there were some
delays and cost overruns and I am interested to know why they
occurred. I want no photocopies - merely to read through the
documents.
If you have any problems with the request involving a lot of
documents, I can refine it after discussion.
Yours faithfully,
Sheila Oliver

Dear Mrs Oliver,
I am writing in response to your request for information below (ref 2677).
Please could you refine your request? The Town Centre and Major
Development team (which holds this information) works in paperless office
which means that all documents are held electronically and stored on
Council systems. As you will appreciate we have a number of documents
relating to a project of this size; therefore we would be grateful for
clarification on the exact nature of the query so we can respond
appropriately. If you are able to specify, for example, any particular
aspects of the project you are interested in this would help to refine
your request.
Yours sincerely,

Dear Ms Naven
Fair point. How about the contract that was signed and the amount
of cost overrun and the reason for it? That would seem reasonable,
wouldn't you think?
Yours sincerely,
Sheila Oliver
