Details of Tender to Outsource Catering to Aramark

Dear University of Sunderland,
Under the Freedom Of Information Act, I would like to request
details of the contract/tender for student/staff catering at all
catering facilities within the University which were once provided
by University owned in-house caters. I would like any
documents/correspondence relating to the procurement of the tender
to the winning contractor Aramark.
I would like to see any email communications or official meeting
documents (agenda's/minutes) relating to this tender process.
If possible, I would like to receive a copy of:
- current spend on catering
- spend on catering when catering service was provided in house.
- any student/staff feedback received during Aramark's tenure or
previous to this transition from in-house catering.
- any student or staff feedback into why a new catering company was
required

Thank you for your e-mail of 22 December 2009 where you requested information about the catering contract at the University.
Please find the following documents attached in a zip file:-
1 - The Catering Pre-Qualification Questionnaire
2 - The Pre-Qualification Questionnaire Scores
3 - Details of the Competitive Dialogue
4 - The Tender Documentation and various appendices including the Catering Outlet Information.
NB – Appendix C to the Tender document contains personal data belonging to third parties and therefore cannot be supplied to you. Also we are currently unable to supply a copy of Appendix F which is a proforma the shortlisted suppliers were asked to complete.
5 - The Tender Scores
6 - The Tender Report and the Supplementary Report, together with the relevant minute extract from Executive of 31 March 2009
7 - The report and the relevant minute extracts from the Joint Consultative Committee meetings
8 - Questionnaire Feedback from when the service was run in-house and since the new contracts have been in operation
9 - The Tender Report of 24 March contains the budget information up to 2007/8. A separate summary budget statement for 2008/9 has therefore been enclosed separately.
10 - The approval of the acceptance of the winning tenders
11 - The Tender Opening Form
