Details of Empty Commercial Properties

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request of 7 May 2009. This
is to inform you that it has been received and we are endeavouring to
respond as promptly and fully as possible. You will receive our
response by 5 June 2009 at the latest.

Our policy is to carry out the spirit and requirements of the Freedom
of Information Act in a manner which:
- recognizes the duty to inform as the essential principle underlying
the legislation;
- discloses to requesters the maximum information possible which is not
injurious to the public and private interests identified in the
exemptions in the Act and does so in the most timely and consistent
manner given the nature and scope of the request;
- ensures that fees permitted under the Act are kept to an absolute
minimum whilst safeguarding our position as a non-profit making
repayment department.

Dear Natalie

In response to your recent Freedom of Information Act request asking
for a list of Commercial empty properties and the owners.

Attached is an up to date list of empty properties as requested. I have
had to remove the names on some as they relate to individuals and we
wouldnt be able to provide those in view of Data Protection. The
information is as accurate as possible but there are some properties
where the Council has not been able to establish who the true owners
are
