Departure of previous CEO Charles Wood

John Turp made this Freedom of Information request to Brent Borough Council

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Brent Borough Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

From: John Turp

6 March 2010

Dear Brent Borough Council,
Why exactly did Mr Wood leave the council? Please be specific about
this. He did not go on to another post in local government but is
rumoured to have retired to France. How old was he at the time?
What were the financial terms, bearing in mind that he was not of
early retirement age [I am almost certain of this].
Yours faithfully, John Turp
