Decision that the ICO is responsible for Phorm

Phillip Main made this Freedom of Information request to Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform

Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform did not have the information requested.

From: Phillip Main

24 June 2009

Dear Sir or Madam,
Given that responsibility for Phorm has been passed to the ICO
,and as the ICO has no powers under RIPA 2000 act, this would imply
that the government is of the opinion that Phorm does not breach
the act. In that case could you please supply any correspondence
between DBIS and the ICO which supports or explains this decision.

Yours faithfully,

Phillip Main
