Dear Norfolk County Council,
1. Can you name the groups responsible for making decisions on ICT
policy in Norfolk related to primary schools?
2. How do the members of these groups come to obtain such positions
of responsibility? For example, do they request it themselves, are
they recommended by colleagues, elected, etc?
3. What positions do the members of these groups hold? For example,
are they head teachers, school governors, civil servants, etc?
4. What approximate proportion of groups responsible for making
decisions on ICT policy in Norfolk, related to primary schools, are
elected to these positions?
5. What approximate proportion of these decision-makers presently
teach high school-age children for a minimum of 2 days each week?
6. What approximate proportion of these decision-makers presently
teach primary school-age children for a minimum of 2 days each
week?

responsibility? For example, do they request it themselves, are they
recommended by colleagues, elected, etc?
School members are nominated by School's Representative Groups, and Local
Authority (LA) members are nominated by the LA according to their job.
Q.3. What positions do the members of these groups hold? For example, are
they head teachers, school governors, civil servants, etc?

Union Representative (JCC)
Q. 4.
What approximate proportion of groups responsible for making decisions on
ICT policy in Norfolk, related to primary schools, are elected to these

School Governors are elected, and represent up to 5% of a group's
membership
Q. 5. What approximate proportion of these decision-makers presently teach
high school-age children for a minimum of 2 days each week?
Approximately 10% of them
Q.6. What approximate proportion of these decision-makers presently teach
primary school-age children for a minimum of 2 days each week?
Approximately 15% of them..
