Dear Mr Brooke,

I write to you regarding your request for a detailed breakdown of expenses
claimed by Councillor Chalkley for the last financial year (2007 - 2008).

Councillor Chalkley received no additional expenses in the financial year
2007/08. He received his basic allowance of £10,000 and his special
responsibility allowance of £10,000.

Dear Stacey,

I'm disappointed after this long time to be given the reply I have,
which I could view on already on the Westminster website.

So, are you saying that Clly Chalkley is give £20000 to spend as he
sees fit without any further accountability. If not could you
please provide the information sought, which is a detailed
breakdown of what expenses Clly Chalkley has claimed for. In other
words how much for cab fares, tube travel and so on.

Dear Mr Brooke,

I can confirm that no separate claim for expenses has been made by Councillor Chalkley.

Councillor Chalkley received £10,000 basic Members' Allowance which is payable to all Members and a Special Responsibility Allowance of £10,000 which is payable to all Cabinet Members.
