Dear Ms Dunckley,

I am writing in response to your request for information below (ref 1792).

The answer to questions 1 - 7 is `none'.

The answer to question 8 is below:

Experience of doing the job, aware of stats and features of dangerous
dogs. Use of guidance supplied by DEFRA on identifying pit bull type dogs.
Only a few people are trained to identify dangerous breeds of dogs in the
country. Where a dog is suspected to be a dangerous dog, external
assessors will be used to identify the breed.

If you are unhappy with the way we have handled your request you are
entitled to ask for an internal review. Any internal review will be
carried out by a senior member of staff who was not involved with your
original request. To ask for an internal review, contact
